The Tour started today from Rotterdam and today's stage was listenable through the Breda tuner (Thanks, Ivo!), especially the Media Channel on 159.425. I suspect that they are using some kind of mobile repeater system, so the coverage may be away from any of the tuners during the middle stages, but following the tour's route on their main page should give an idea. I got freqs from the following page: http://qrg.broker.freenet6.net/?q=tour+de+france and the VHF ones were listenable through the entire stage today.

Transmissions are in French with some english, but the team names stick out well enough to follow the action.

Enjoy!

Hi
The repeater 169.425 could be heard quite a long time;the main repeaters are on-board a plane that follows the race ; i had 122.85 for A-A freq
The usual for french TV director should be 421.0125 (with consigns to cameramen, helico, etc..) (but not heard on Sunday), and there should be 170.150 for medical crew
Actually i was a litlle late and didn't catch it from the beginning; but i received 169.425 on Breda until the end of the race

Bonjour :)

I was listening to Breda this morning (Monday 05 july) and didn't have much luck with 169.425, but I tried a couple of other freqs (check the user logs on Breda for the exact ones) and was hearing them up until about 3/4 thru the stage. I will try again this morning, and see what I can find thru Breda... There's another page of great frequencies, but I don't have it on the laptop, it's on the machine at home (which I will be there around 1430 GMT).

The ones I had active on Monday were:
170.1125 - TdF Helos
164.6875 - Caravan Motorcycle co-ordination

I'm home now and have the link to a great forum that is updated daily with frequencies:

Salut!

Brad

Tomorrow's stage (08 july) - Épernay to Montargis should be monitorable from the paris tuner, Javaradiofrance. Hopefully I will be awake around the start of the stage (the Caravane departs Épernay at around 10.45 local time)... it should be a good one, with riders arriving around 15.45 in Montargis.

Good fortune to all the riders!

Brad
