This is an experimental node using My Icom 706 MKIIG. It won't be available 24/7 This is the gear I use personally to do ham radio. HF antenna is most often tuned to 80m ham band

The radio is operated by VA2DLJ and is located 20 km south east of Montreal, the second largest french city after Paris. My town has a population of 60 000 people. The city is a mix of urban and rural land. A river flows through the city from lake Champlain in the USA to the Saint-Laurent gulf near Sorel. The temperature ranges from -35° celcius to +35° celcius. We often have windy weather conditions and it can go up to 100km/h. The city is most know by it's Hot air baloon festival.
