Testing Technics ST-GT630 usage with Globaltuners.
This RX is supporting FM with RDS and two IF bandwidths and AM bands LW and MW. Tuning steps for FM: 25 kHz, 50 kHz, 100 kHz or 200 kHz. Tuning steps for AM: 9 kHz or 10 kHz (*). You can switch between stereo and mono from the "Stereo" button and switch between PI/PS, RT and tuner status info from the "DISP" button.

Tip: You'll get RDS better with 110 khz but 80 khz is suitable for general DXing due to better selectivity.

Please also note this: it is possible that tuning isn't working always since this is my prototype for controlling tuner from PC - and PLL wires are not yet soldered properly.

*) Additional note for AM DXers: AM band isn't working properly. There are problems with the antenna connector - the tuner doesn't get signal all the time. Need to fix this later.

THE SECOND PHASE IN TESTING WITH THIS NODE IS IN PROGRESS NOW.
If this design proves to be fully working it may be the final design. Please report about the noticed problems.
