After a lot of travel and little time for radio, I finally took a look at the receiver and with some troubleshooting discovered a data connector fault. It's fixed and the Hong Kong Node is now back to normal. Sorry about the downtime.
This node is, as far as I know, the first online receiver in Asia first set up more than 15 years ago. It began by using MS Netmeeting for audio and remote control of various radio control softwares. Eventually, it was transferred to "JavaRadio," the old name for this site until Sun complained about trademark infringement. Other than for a couple of house moves, this down time was the longest. The system has been up and running better than 99% of the time all these years.
Sometime in the near future I am planning to move the system to a Pipo X9 mini-computer running Windows 10 to reduce power costs. More antenna improvements are in the works too.
All the best to my radio friends around the world!
