To the new GlobalTuners website. There are a few important changes I would like to tell you about on this page. Please read carefully to prevent confusion :).
GlobalTuners uses a ticket based support system. When you go to the support page you can create a 'ticket' and ask for help. You ticket will then automatically show up when an administrator logs in. The administrator can 'assign' the ticket to someone else, often the site operator or someone who knows more about the subject. When one of our administrators posts a reply to your 'ticket', you will automatically receive a notification by e-mail. When the problem is resolved, or the question is answered, the administrator will change the status of the ticket to 'resolved'. You can now delete the ticket, you can not post messages to the ticket anymore (you will have to create a new one).
I feel that there is no need for a 'private message' system now that we have the new support system. If you want to contact any of our users personally, you can use the chat to do so. You can often find other members in the GlobalChat, but you can also click them in the Active Users list and see what receiver they were (or still are) on. I have also hidden all your e-mail addresses from other users. This makes it impossible to send unwanted e-mail messages. Some people have tried to destroy our network by sending out malicious private messages in the past.
This list contains information from the past 7 days. I can not guarantee that the numbers are entirely correct all the time.
The Active Users list shows you the users who are currently logged in and have visited a page on GlobalTuners in the past 20 minutes. If you have been listening to a receiver for more than 20 minutes, you may not show up in the Active Users list. You are, however, still on the 'Receiver sessions' list on the 'Website statistics' page.
This page is primarily for my own information, but you may like to take a look at it as well.
We, the administrators, can watch almost every action on our website, including, but not limited to, all chat sessions and tuning activities. This information may also be logged for later reference. We do this so we can quickly respond to prevent abuse of our system. This is, however, no guarantee that an admin is always watching everything.
