Hi all,

Is it possible to use the Unreal streaming software with Google Chrome? I've been having alot of trouble using GT lately on Firefox, so I switched browsers. Chrome seems to work fine here, but so far I haven't figured out how to get the low-latency streams to work yet. Thanks for any help!

Hi David,

It should work with Chrome just fine. Please try to re-install the Unreal Media plugin from http://www.umediaserver.net/umediaserver/BrowsersPlugin.html

Hope this helps.

It’s interesting how Google Chrome and Unreal Player come together in delivering media-rich experiences. In my experience, Chrome's wide support for various web technologies complements Unreal Player’s capabilities for immersive content. However, one thing I’ve noticed is that performance can vary based on system specs, especially for high-res streaming. Has anyone experimented with different settings in Chrome (like adjusting the WebGL or media settings) to improve Unreal Player’s performance? I’d be curious to see if tweaking Chrome’s settings makes a noticeable difference!

This is an interesting topic. Chrome and Unreal Player serve very different purposes, but performance and compatibility can sometimes overlap, especially with media and web-based content. It’s always useful to share real-world experiences with how they handle playback and system resources.
