Antenna has been improved and a major source of noise (about 10dB worth) has been eliminated (bad photocell on the entry light at the front door). More antenna work may be done this winter for further improvement. One special result is the noise on 8.942 and 8.903 which has been around for years is now totally gone making listening to distant aircraft much, much easier. Same on 17.904. Big improvement on MW too, but working on eliminating a bit of computer noise on that band.
