Saturday, 05-Sep-09 10:39:32 GMTMy wife and I can enjoy the DX PSK31 and SSTV using the MMVARI, MMSSTV, and Hamscope software on the PC this end. Right Way to go for armchair DX copy when the bands are a little noisy and unsettled in this part of the world at the times we can listen.

Sunday, 06-Sep-09 00:27:25 GMTEDIT: I have put the thread on a more suitable category.
Myself I enjoy the fact that having many user give the opportunity to discover many many more frequency and type of communication. Discussion about radio while everyone can listen to the same signal is really fun.
It's fun to listen to commercial "local station" everywhere on the planet on the LW, MW and FM band.
It's fun to be able to track a HF signal from many place over the world.
I would probably have many many more Interest, but this is a few one.

Monday, 07-Sep-09 04:59:42 GMTi love listening to hams from all over the world and also am fm from the world over
It is good to see so many varied DX interests. How many use the free download software like the Hamscope MMSSTV and MMVARI on the PC while listening/viewing to the PSK31 and other modes on Global Tuners? I would also be interested to hear what other software enthusiasts use with global tuners to assist their DXing fun.
Best Wishes to all.

Monday, 14-Sep-09 23:20:30 GMTI'm using MMSSTV, shipplotter (without succes with my node), Wxtoimg and Skysweeper.
Don't know many mode on HF, almost none beside SSTV and wefax, but would really like to discover more like psk31 or rtty. I often listen to "strange" sound on the HF band but I'm unable to decode something from it. It's hard to decode something we don't know what it is.

Monday, 14-May-12 18:40:29 GMTI enjoy a lot of things. the FM dial in different places (especially foreign countries, the London nodes have a lot of FM pirates), the TV Band in countries that haven't yet fully converted to digital, local CB chatter (especially channel 19) , the remote broadcast frequencies (sometimes called "martis". fast food drive troughs (all though I haven't found too many here) and casino security on the Tucson node. (I found one that don't trunk!)
