I don't really know anything about radio, but I was wondering how exactly to listen to this strange station. I know that the frequency is 4625 kHz AM (because of the wikipedia article) but I can't get any of the radios here to tune to that, unless I am doing something wrong.

If you've never heard about it, you can read about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UVB-76

sorry if this thread is in the wrong place

thanks for any help

You can use Lueneburger Heide DX receiver to tune to UVB-76 - on this receiver this radio sounds very clearly, especially when USB mode is enabled.

4625KHz is 4.625MHz - enter the frequency in MHz on the receivers

This one works very well also, make sure you have AM and medium. I am new to radio as well.

hi, are there any other ways of tuning in cos ive tried both of the suggested above but they seem to be very temperamental.
Thanks
Jake

Interesting, there's still juice in the good old Short Waves :-)

Has anything ever been decoded ?
